Employment History

Nursing Education 2000-Present: Formerly University College of the Cariboo...now Thompson Rivers University. I began teaching within sessional positions and am currently working in a full time faculty position in the BScN program of the School of Nursing.
2010 Achieved tenure status.
2013 Received Senior Lecturer status.

2015- 2019: practice lead BScN. My role was to promote excellence in practice education through faculty
support; updating practice manuals; proposing implementing and evaluating innovative practice models; coordinate student enrichment experiences; consulting around practice scheduling, coordination of CPE 3 orientation workshops

1987-2014: Nursing Practice acute care.Previously employed in acute care in a number of permanent, float and casual positions in pediatrics, medicine, surgery. Most of my time has been spent within a surgical focus including vascular, general surgery, urology and orthopedics.
