My scholarship centres on challenging racial discrimination in Canadian social policy, social activism, and the profession of social work.

Research Interests

Critical race, post-colonial, and feminist theories; transnational activism; online resistance; criminalization of migrant resistance; identity politics; constructions of race and gender; immigration policy; interpretative methodologies; critical discourse analysis; critical pedagogy
